Happy Birthday Eddy!

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday The Love of my life, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to  Y O U !

Eddy, this post is dedicated to you. I want the world to know that you are my best friend. From the first time we spoke I knew you were different from the rest. Did I know I would marry you? No, I'm not gonna lie, but I will say I dont regret the day I said "I DO" in front of family & friends... When I saw the tears in your eyes when my daddy was walking me down the aisle, I knew, right then I had made the right choice. I knew you were the one. My life is better with you. I love your cheesy jokes. I love waking up next to you every single morning. Your laugh. The way you look at me. I love that you dont let me give up on my dreams & encourage me to keep my head heald up. No, things may not be perfect, but I know we are perfect for eachother. I want to grow old with you. I promise never to leave your side nor will I ever stop being your girlfriend.
Thanks for becoming a dog person & baseball fan for me ;) but most importantly, thanks for loving me.

So I've been really happy lately... for a never-ending list of reasons, but one reason is particular . . . . drumroll please - Spring is finally here! Why does this put a smile on my face? Allergies? Not so much. If you know me at all you know its definitely not because its allergy season :/ Spring Break? Maybe . . . but the real reason is because its soo beautiful outside! Flowers are in bloom, sunsets are wonderful & its colorful all around!!!
So let me know when your ready to update your picture & be assured I'll work around your schedule ;)

I leave you of a picture taken last week while hiking . . . Happy Tuesday! xoxo

I'm alive :D

Just in case you were wondering... I'm alive! :) Thank God I was able to touch land in one piece after jumping out of a perfectly good plane!!! It was beyond awesome & I'm up to do it again! Again? Yes, maybe this summer. It just feels like an awsome accomplishment because I was able to face my fears & now I'm able to tell you all about it.
So I'm not even gonna lie. I was NERVOUS, but that didnt stop me. I was sweating bullets, just ask my girlfriends. If you know me, you know I'm not a coffee person. Well I was soo nervous on Saturday, that I had to stop to buy an iced macchiato - upside down caramel macchiato that is :) before we got on the road to Lake Elsinore.
The people at Skydive Elsinore  were incredibly nice! They are very organized & after signing my life away in their main office, we were sent away moving from station to station preparing us mentally I would say. It went as follows:
  • Sign life away
  • Video instruction
  • Physical instruction
  • Changing into suit
  • Meet & greet instructor
  • Video recording
  • More hands-on instructions
  • Walking into plane
  • Gearing up & adjusting straps
  • Save farewell on video
  • Ready, set, goooooooooooo
  • Next thing I knew I was free falling at approximately 120 miles/hr unable to close my mouth
Did I miss a step? Probably, but this is how I remember it! lol
It all happens soo fast, as if they dont even give you time to really think about changing you mind. \Which in my case, worked wonderfully :) This was my first time skydiving but definately not my last. I was able to share this experiance with four other brave friends... Crystal, Denise, Laurie & Marta - thanks ladies! And for my support group, Karla & Kathy that went to sheer us on & my facebook family - you know who you are ;)
With that said, have a wonderful weekend & dont get tired of saying I love you to those close to your heart <3

Reach for the sky!

This weekend, tomorrow to be exact, I will be sky diving with a couple of girlfriends in celebration of my 25th birthday! I've received an array of reactions when I mentioned to family and friends my plans to sky dive. I dedcided to do this because I'm facing my fears. I will not get anywhere in life if I live dodging or hiding. Its all about facing the things that scare us because we fear we may not like the result. When in fact taking that risk gets us places we never imagined!
With that said, I'm not going out in a loom and state everyone who is afraid of heights should sky dive, because it may just not be for everyone. But I am saying that taking risks when it comes to love, something your passionate about, career, school, ect... does pay off! Taking that next step career-wise because you found it in you to introduce yourself to a potential client . . . Even deciding to be a "stay-at-home mom" and down-sizing to raise your kids for example.
You are the only person that will keep you from getting where you need to be in Life. I truely believe that.
Wishing you & yours a wonderful Easter weekend! xoxo
