Wedding Sites

I've been wanting to share this with you for a while now, and I'm ecstatic to finally be able do it! Included in all my wedding collections is a wedding website that I will customize for every client which comes with at least 4 pages - Home, Our Story, Slideshow & Wedding Details. As you can imagine this is an awesome way to showcase with family & friends your engagement session along with wedding location, bridal registry info, etc...  Each client will have its own personal URL (the one below is http://www.sample.belinda-love.com/) - your name would go instead of "sample".  Then you will be able to put this url on your Save the Date cards or invitations... It can save you time, money and who isn't up for that? The possibilities are endless!

I'd love to hear what you guys think.. Good idea? As a potential client, would you be interested in a wedding site?
HAPPY MONDAY~!

Yeniffer + Mike : Engagement

They met at bible study on Yeniffer's birthday November 1, 2004. She had never seen him before... Mike had just began attending church in the Valley. Both we're very shy. They continued to see each other at church activities and began speaking. They quickly realized how many things they had in common and enjoyed each others company yet continued as friends. March 27, 2005 Mike asked if she wanted to be his girlfriend, Yeni said YES. She knew in her heart that there was something special about Mike.

Fast forward to February 2010... Yeni wanted to give Mike something memorable for his birthday so she contacted me to take pictures of them. I was delighted! You can see that session here and here. The night of their session they went out to dinner & to Yeni's surprise, Mike professed his love for her & proposed, again Yeni said YES!

I'm honored to be documenting their big day next month in Tarzana. Here are my favorites from Saturdays engagement session at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles.

I love Yeni's dress & shoes!!

Awww, my fav!

Part 2

FYI this is a continuation of yesterdays blog post Part1

My ultrasound appointment was made for September 10th and I went to go get my blood work done on the 14th. The results would be into my doc by September 17th & I pleaded to somehow get squeezed in for an appointment. I sobbed to the receptionist that I didn't want to have to go another weekend stressing about my results; She penciled me in.

Take in mind it had already been more than three since the doctor confirmed there was an abnormal lump in my breast. I realized it was extremely difficult to restrain the mind from negative thoughts and emotions. I constantly reminded myself that I had faith in a God that was all powerful and I can truly tell you today, that I never felt Him leave my side throughout this experience. My faith in Him and His word is what kept me upbeat around others not knowing what the future held for me. I prayed and prayed for God to do His will not mine. Do you know how hard that is during difficult times? Its always easier said than done, but I said it anyway. I know everything happens for a reason and I continuously read the Bible verse found in 1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

Fast forward to the day of my results. Again, I'm sitting in the same cold room, impatiently I may add, waiting for the doctor to hit me with the news. After waiting for what felt like an eternity, my hands sweaty yet my feet freezing I should have worn my Chucks I told myself, she walks in. The woman whose words can change my life drastically. I'm holding my breath, I only have good news for you she says. I'm breathing again, your blood work came back normal and so did your ultrasound results... there were no lumps found. My mouth dropped! Is this a joke? I've felt it for at least the past two months & she confirmed it before sending me to get an ultrasound. Lay down she said let me check again... I don't feel anything she said with a huge smile! I left the doctors office numb and when I got to my car I couldn't hold it in anymore... I was bawling to the point where I got hiccups! It was a miracle, my God, He heard my prayers!

I am forever grateful and indebted to Him. I feel like he seriously gave me back my life. A life that I have promised myself to live healthier, positive and spend more time with those close to my heart. This test has brought me back to reality in a sense. Ironically, we get caught up if "life" working, commuting, or simply just squandering time in things that bring no benefit to us. Instead of dreaming how life should be, lets make it happen. Take it from me, tomorrow is not guaranteed. When was the last time you told those you care most about how much you love and cherish them? Make time.

Finally, for the ladies. If you can get one thing out of this I want it to be, make time to check yourselves. Make time to go to those annual exams. I cannot stress how important it is. You may think your young, I do ;) but your never too young to get sick. It can happen to anyone. Anyone. Do a self examination and if there is any doubt don't hesitate to see your doctor.

PART 1

FYI, this blog entry cannot get any more personal. And I'm having to break it up in two parts...

For the past 30+ days, I've been dealing with something totally new & unexpected. I havent been able to talk to many about it, for one simple reason: I didnt want anyone to worry.

On August 30th I went in to the doctors for my annual exam... After getting weighed the nurse took my blood pressure. "Its high" I remember her muttering. I sat in the cold room for about five minutes until the doc walked in. She did her thing and then asked if I was there for a specific reason besides my annual exam. I breifly mentioned my wrist, my right one specifically, hurt me while I was on the computer. Thats when she introduced me to my new BFF, a splint. Said it could be Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. After discussing that, she was getting ready to leave the room & I blurted out " I've felt something on one of my breast for the past couple of months!" She turned around and looked at me, "Well why hadnt you mentioned that earlier honey..." I wasnt going to tell her the truth, because I was scared... After she examined me my fears became a reality, I indeed had an abnormal lump. The docotor then advised me to go get an ultrasound.

The following Monday I called to make the ultrasound appointment, and thats when it all hit me like a cold bucket of water. Could this really be happening to me? I hesitated to tell my own mother, because well, I didnt want her to worry. She worries enough, like all moms do right? But my husband convinced me, so I did. Mom assured me that it was normal & that young women came in all the time to the hospital (my mom works at a hospital) for ultrasounds in their breast. Did that put me at ease? Truthfully, I dont think anything could.

. . . To Be Continued . . .

And because a post is always better with a picture, here's my latest infatuation: CLOUDS :)
