Day by day... that's the way I'm learning to live. Not taking life and the people I care most about for granted. Isn't it ironic how bad news or situations make stop & reflect? Like that's what it takes sometimes to snap us out of our hectic schedules...
Sometimes you don't have to understand. You just have to trust that God will get you through it! ♥ And that's exactly what I intend on doing.
This is a special entry. See, today is my mom's birthday & I want to wish her a very HAPPY day! In my eyes, she is like no other.
Mom, you've always been a great example to me in all aspects of life. You've taught me morals & lived up to them, repeated that even if its my day off getting up to make coffee for hubby can make all the difference in his day. My childhood may have not been perfect, but it was a wonderful childhood to me because you were always there. There to help me with homework, there to attend school plays, there to make dinner every night, there to talk, there to discipline me when needed... There to be my mom. THANK YOU. And although my huge red & pink glasses (see below) weren't the most flattering, you didn't dismiss my complaints about my never-ending headaches. I remember that even if you guys were low on money, you always made me feel special on my birthday buying my favorite, a strawberry cake from Stox Bakery to enjoy at grandmas house. And these are only a few reasons why I always thrive to make you proud.
Most importantly you have always lived a righteous life and have proved its possible to live according to Gods will. I love you more than you will ever know! I thank God for choosing me to have the best mom in the world.
With love & gratitude your daughter, Belinda
What you thought I was kidding about my huge pink glasses, I wish; but tell me my cake didn't look yummy!
